sunrise reflection

We were up before the sun this morning to take hubby for some outpatient surgery. Of course I was not very chipper about getting up in the dark, nor about the reason for getting up so early. But just before we left the house a beautiful golden light came over the horizon and lit up the peach tree in our back yard. It cheered me considerably to be given such a special treat!
And, by the way, the surgery went well, we got home earlier than expected, and hubby is sleeping peacefully.
