How much is that pussy in the window?

We walked along the village this morning to meet estate agent no 2 and I was gratified to see that the cat in the window had multiplied.

Weather much improved, with the sun fighting its way through at 10 am.

The house that we saw was a real charmer but far too large for us, it would be wasted upon us and should be filled with a young family. Lovely though and seductive with many original features... more reconditioned than renovated. Utterly charming. We will need to be strong willed not to succumb. Sited in the village square, facing the church and across the road from a newish bar/restaurant.

This afternoon we moved to another Aire recommended to us by the estate agent. This one has working services and a park for the dog, so we are all happy. It is in Lathus.

This afternoon we saw another property in a village nearby. Probably not the one for us though it did possess a few selling features.

I had forgotten how soul destroying this house hunting business can be.
