Spring crocus
Spring crocus struggling to open in the intermittent sun today. They were in the Guildford garden of my host this morning for a monthly Mah-Jong session. The house is 1920s and garden is probably little changed since it was first laid out. Old fruit trees, mossy stones, overgrown flowerbeds.
Can anyone tell me the name of the lovely tree I spotted nearby - my extra.
I'm onto the second ball of wool with my knitting after my first rush of enthusiasm last evening!
