Two problems solved

I put two boxes of charity shop donations in the boot of the car this morning. They usually stay there for several weeks, waiting for the day when there is a free parking spot when I pass. Such a surprise when today there was a space right outside. Car unloaded, job done. My blip is the view up the road from outside the charity shop.
I was on my way for coffee with a friend who was going to help me with my knitting. My sister picked up a kit in a charity shop for knitting a fancy scarf. Great find, but the instructions are in French! So I enlisted Ann's help as not only is she a competent knitter, she also speaks French. She worked it out and got me started, all the while enjoying a good chat. We go back many years.
