2018 Wednesday—Old Barn in the Fog

We had a late afternoon appointment to meet a gal who was selling a nightstand. I had seen it on a “Craig’s List” type of website. She lives in Paseo Robles, which is 45 minutes to an hour from us.

So we left early and drove out Highway 41 to Atascadero so we could stop at some thrift stores. Paseo is approximately 10 miles north on the 101 Freeway from Atascadero.

I didn’t like either of the thrift stores, but it was a fun adventure. At 3:45 we pulled into the designated parking lot where we had agreed to meet and the seller was there waiting for us.

She was very polite and easy to do business with. Her little nightstand looked as good in-person as it did in the online photo. Soon we were on our way to the coast with our newest piece of furniture.

As we neared the ocean, the fog was serving as a definite border between the inland area and the coast. In the distance, I saw this barn and quickly clicked a photo of it.
