Across the road from my house..

construction is starting on 7 or 8 houses.   They are still working on the roads and infrastructure on the part that is closer to me in this photo.   Lots of dirt being moved..and now it is muddy dirt as we have been having rain days about every two days.    This photo was taken from the end of my driveway at the mailbox.   Based on the road layout, we will be looking at the backs of houses in the future and probably wooden privacy fences.   

Makes me sad every time I look out there.  But I guess since we have been living here for over 40 years, I really can't complain as it took a long time for "progress" to reach us.
