Nellie Dean tribute
On the way to her morning accordion session the Current Mrs Creel dropped me off at the junction of the C135 with the D98 and the fresh air did me no harm. Back at HQ I have been addressing paperwork requirements of the Hoy Kirk.
The Gyre Mill hasn’t functioned since 1926 and the Mill Dam has become choked with rashes and reeds. I would be surprised if Water Rail are not present.
Tatties soup is on the stove. I’ll need to go out and shoot a bannock.
