Wonderful weather....

From Dubai, where it was about 28 degrees C in the middle of the night, we arrived safely in Bangalore this morning. I watched another film and did not manage to sleep a wink.  It took us forever to get out of the airport with one thing and another but eventually we met up with our meet and greet man, Mr Denny and our driver for the next three weeks, Pramod. We went to the hotel - which is lovely where we were welcomed by this gentleman - through ghastly traffic and spent a couple of hours resting before heading out for a tour of the city. We went to an exhibition of 'old India' by Derry Moore of his black and white photographs of India from the 1970"s. These photographs were outstanding! 
Traffic is horrendous, streets narrow and people everywhere. We got to Cubben park - an oasis in the city where we enjoyed a wonderful couple of hours meandering around. See extras.  We have enjoyed a 'proper' Indian meal here in the hotel and tomorrow head off into the country. 
Time to pack the bag, again and then I'm ready for bed!
