In situ...

The base for the yard crane has been installed, this involved drilling the base board and glueing a spigot in place for the crane to pivot around. The metal parts of the crane have been 'rusted' with red oxide spray and then dry brushed in maroon.  Still got to fix the hook and wire/chain.  Not sure about that bit yet. :o. Being impatient I've cobbled together a little Harbourside cameo and to give it a period feel I've converted the colour shot to mono.  I'm not a lover of black and white photography - spent a lot of money buying gear that took me away from all of that - but sometimes it just seems to work better.

The man in the hard hat may be too modern for this 60's scene?
