Andrew dropped in this afternoon and he & I "escaped" on a bird watching expedition. First we checked out Higgins Neuk where we spotted these cheeky wee things. We also became aware of three or four hares racing about the fields and a couple of buzzards not showing any interest. We then spotted the reason. Today's extra shows two blokes a field away and one is carrying an eagle! Not the best photo but they were quite a distance away.
Second stop was Kinneil Lagoon where there were thousands of birds, waders, ducks, gulls etc of every description but the rain was worse so I decided to keep the camera safe and dry.
Back home to find the family had all arrived which is always great. Must admit we are both tired this evening!
