Cheftain of the puddin race
Girls game of soccer called off due to frozen pitch. Took the oppurtunity to get some slabs that someone at work wanted rid off in my friends camper van. On the way to the allotment picked up a 8ft x 6ft pallet from another friedn that is going to be used to protect the greenhouse glass from stones been thrown at it.
Off to the allotment with the scavenged goods, on the way spotted stump number 100 would get on way back.
Got to the allotment and the glass had been put in the greenhouse, it looked great, I had mentioned to another allot holder I was struglling and he took it on himself to finish the job. Need to bake a cake for him.
Had soem neighnours up for a Burns supper, we supplied the soup, haggis and veg with the other 2 familes bringing a pudding to go with ours.
MacSweens veggie haggis is superb as was the traditional version, the selection of puddings after was pavlova with allotment fruits, crannachan and wholemeal syrup steamed sponge(ours).
A lovely evening spent just catching up. Thanks Eco guests.
