A day for family......

......a day to reflect with final goodbye's......

Mid-morning as the sun streamed down we all gathered at the cemetery under the shade of the pine trees. It was a time to reflect, a few thoughts were shared, happy and sad, my in-laws now resting together.

The rest of the day we spent together, eating, laughing, reflecting and just enjoying being together. It was another sizzling day, 32C and the sandflies were biting. The young ones, well they're all young adults now, found some water bombs and had a ball cooling off with some fun. Then hubby's younger sister decided it was time for a 'girl's walk'. I learnt about a new park, all bush with a wetland's area in the centre of the town. Although it was so very very hot, we did enjoy stretching our legs. Before we knew it, it was time to head back to the motel to freshen up for 'Grandad's last shout' - dinner out.

Such a lovely day, being together and yes S you were in our thoughts to, I know you would've been with us if you could.
