Close up cock pheasant ....

Another busy one today. Sent one off to muck out the shed next door as wee brother wanting to house some of his in lamb ewes next week.
The other one knocks off at 12 on a Friday and , as usual , timed filling all the sheep silage hecks to 11.59am perfectly.
This left muggins here to put 4 loads of silage in to the slats cattle, mix and bag up 2 batches of feeding then muck out and bed 4 sheds of cattle here.
Then a run into town tonight to collect Littlemiss from yet another birthday party.
This cock pheasant has obviously had the brains to hang around the steading long enough to avoid being shot during the season, which ended yesterday. Now all he has to worry about is getting run over or eaten by marauding foxes or badgers then finding a harem of hens to mate with ! Some life !
