Deceptive (Day 999)

Thank you all for the comments, hearts and stars on yesterday's blip.

The morning woofer wander was a cold affair, the very strong wind blowing out of the north was one of those lazy winds which cuts straight through you rather than going around.
I warmed up a bit with coffee at home before heading across to Stromness to change an automatic air vent and an electric shower. The jobs were relatively quick and straightforward, and I decided to scoot down to the shore to see if there was anything worthy of a blip. The view over Graemsay looked reasonable with a few sunbeams bursting through for some extra drama. An extra shot looking down into Scapa Flow, because I like it too despite the lighthouse being distorted by the wide angle lens. Both shots make it look like it was a lovely day, but the wind has been around Force 10 all day and bitterly cold. On the drive home heavy rain turned to sleet and hail.
After a quick lunch I took the woofers to Wasdale, and was incredibly lucky to avoid all of the showers.
This evening,  my  beautiful wife and I are having a trip to the cinema.
