A muted celebration

Today the sale of the unit which I had used for over ten years as my office when working in private practice, went through. The final price was badly affected by the fact that it was leasehold; the celebration (muted as it was) related to the ending of having to pay ground rent. Especially when for the last almost two years it was impossible for anyone to use it due to refurbishment of the entire complex. 

The Moutard family make champagne from vineyards within the designated area. This Methode is made by the family from grapes grown just adjacent to the Champagne region. Nearly but not quite epitomises my feelings about the sale.
