Max the Dachs

Met this little chap while walking with Mrs Woo today. His name is Max and he is very keen to root out whatever is in any holes he comes across....

There is a more conventional picture of him in all his cuteness here, but I felt this one captured his nature ... head down a hole, tail wagging!

Apparently Dachshunds were bred to hunt badgers - I never knew that, but looking at his sturdy little legs and strong paws I can see why.
