Big Shots

Today the Wonder Dog and me decided that we would pop over to The Kingdom of Fife for a good walk in the country. The weather was perfect, cold and nice and clear, but unfortunately we didn't realise it was National Shoot Everything In the Countryside Day.

Three times we got out of the car and set off only to hear shots being fired at close range. Now His Dogness is not usually a shy or frightened animal but by the end of each outing rushed back to the car and was cowering in the footwell. Very out of character.

So enough was enough - back to our home territory and a romp on the beach but to be honest he was fed up and just wanted to get home. So he's here lying beside on the sofa full of his tea and looking forward to an evening of snuggling up and watching a film...and maybe the occasional snack.
