Rosie was with us today. Starting damp it eventually cleared up but remained uninviting for any serious ventures outside.

Mid-afternoon there were some big shadows over the garden as this Red Kite seemed to be doing some loops. They are a regular sight in our area but not usually quite so repetitive in their route. I suspect it had spotted something to eat! The sun played its part in getting a photo or two by lighting the wings rather nicely.

Annie's flying to Edinburgh from Luton this evening for a few days of work. Hopefully the flight will be on time and it won't be too late an arrival.
