Piz Cotschen 3030m

A fantastic day out with the local mountaineering club. We started at Bos-cha, near Ardez in the lower Engadine. It was a long hard climb up to the summit with conditions very warm at the bottom and biting strong winds at the top. Skiing down we had very mixed conditions too. What a joy to be out on such a fine day!
Early evening we headed out with sledges up the mountainside beyond the village on a moonlit night for a farewell fondue (see extra). A super venue, a wonderful atmosphere and a fun descent. Two good friends of ours will move to Crans Montana next week.
