Cross cultural connections

I used to work alongside Ruth in Shropshire. The last time I saw her was when she visited me in Zambia while she was living in South Africa and we went on an exciting road trip up to Mutinondo. Then I came back to work in Shropshire. Abi came to work in Shropshire from Malaysia and we ended up working in school together. When we got talking we realised that Ruth had been Abi's boss while she was spending a year in South Africa! Today we all met up in Shrewsbury. So brilliant and very random. It's a small world!

We went to Dough & Oil in Shrewsbury and it's so utterly hipster that it's almost a parody. Great Reuben bagel though.

On the subject of great Reubens...my fantastic nephew is six today. We celebrated with Fish, Chips and excessive amounts of cake.
