Frozen Sandwater
A frosty morning, but so calm and sunny. It clouded over during lunch, but the sun came back. It's a frosty cold night, and still calm.
It's been a busy day on the museum desk. The day started with the library coming to do bookbug, and we had over 100 visitors for the event. The day remained steady, with a lot of visitors to the isles. Walkies with Sammy after tea, and also a lazy time watching telly. Off out with the squad boys later, surprise birthday drams for our Jarl Leslie.
I popped out for a run in the car at lunchtime, and was good to get a brisk walk and fresh air. Shame I hadn't taken my litter bags with me, as the plastic waste at the loch was terrible, another trip needed. To my surprise, the loch was fairly frozen, mostly around the edges. Sandwater loch, with the half way house aka Sandwater Hotel in the distance.
