How Much?

Walking through Carcassonne this morning I came across this estate agent and was surprised just how cheap property is here.

OK, so it's only a studio apartment, but you won't find anything for 36,800 Euros in the UK.

When I asked a local he informed me property prices had fallen by as much as 40% since 2008, and were particularly cheap in Carcassonne.

No wonder there are so many Brits buying here.
