Corten Steel

More metal… the corten steel pilings (with that lovely deep dark rust) that make up the bulkhead for Lake Union across the street. (see monday’s blip).  I think they are all in now, ..some of the equipment has left , including the big crane.  But the china in our china cabinet is still shaking to the tune of some machine… they are now cutting them all off to the same height, and will have to fill in behind some more with this gravel..   Yes, it’s raining. 


Had a nice lunch out a bit north of Seattle with old friends.   We used to plan dinner but neither of us is too keen on driving in that traffic that time of day so this worked well...   Too old?
