Fiona Friday..with ducks

It was a lovely day so we thot we’d have a walk with Fi at the UW arboretum water trail.  (lots of miles today for H and I!)   I had just told her to look out for wood ducks and showed her a picture on my phone when the first duck she saw here was you guessed it, a wood duck!   Very exciting.  Quite a few of them actually, and mallards and northern shovelers.  Had to put them in front tho so you could see them because also in this photo I wanted the bronze shoes that blipper Tookie put here… (I’ll try to find her blip…...)  When we got home there wasn’t much sewing (some planning) but she is busy all the time..making a maze on paper, playing cards, eating pizza and milkshake, treating us to her 'presentation on family culture (those swedish pancakes now immortalized), having a gymnastics show with Charlotte the knit doll, and constant chatter all the way home……She’s very excited about her birthday next week…we had to practice for the start of the celebration tomorrow (extra)
