Little Egret

 The sun came out so I just had to get out in it and headed off to the lake........I was lurking in a small group of trees trying to creep up on a pair of Goosanders when this beauty flew in ( see first extra also) .....he didn't spot me behind the tree and proceeded to land about 10 feet away to look for a snack......I was thrilled to get such a rare close up of him ( he's usually so flighty and I get nowhere near him)  ( there is another shot of him, second extra) ......then a little bit further round the lake I spotted our very own  Wanaka Tree ( see third extra) ...........which was lovely......but maybe not quite as picturesque as the original  ;-))
