Costa del Seaham
People around here often remark that if we had the right climate this wide bay with sand and shingle would be an even more wonderful place.
It was a lovely sunny morning so we went down to the beach for a quiet stroll along the prom. Unfortunately the seafront was being hogged by bloody pensioners, the car park was busy, full of MPV's and little Nissans, every baby boomer for miles around had brought their pooch for a pee and a poo on our golden sands, they'd nicked the best seats in the seafront cafes and they were dawdling around Aldi like they had all the time in the world, massive trolleys, probably more for balance than carrying capacity though I did see a couple laden with absorbent things that shouldn't be advertised on TV before the water shed. Aaaarghhhh.
Talking of TV, I've read that Norris is ready to abandon the Kabin. The talk is of sun and siesta threesomes with Emily and Rita. Don't know about you but I'm tired of this ridiculous Phelan story.
Rumour has it that in a future episode a woman is to have a baby without complications, to a man she knows. Where do they dream up these plots?
Did anyone see the BBC sports news this morning? A female sports journo was asked which (Dirty) Leeds football strip top she preferred, the old or the new - well she was almost numbed by the audacious unscripted challenge, I noticed the quivering lip and the fear in her staring eyes! Confronted with a multiple choice question she went to pieces and refused to answer. Gosh, the pressure these mini-celebrity 'z' listers are under.
Rant over.
