Old Rusty

Success...finally!  A cold day today but I was determined to search again.  So glad I did because not only did I get to see the male Rusty Blackbird, but I discovered that there was a female there as well!!  Previously, people had been reporting a lone male so I am rather thrilled to discover there is a pair. I am guessing that only people who are 'birders' can appreciate how thrilled I feel at the moment  ; ))  Not the best of photos but I will return on the weekend when I (hopefully) have more sun to allow their plumage shine...plus those wickedly cool eyes of theirs!

Too much excitement for one day....I am off to bed  ; )
