Not to the tip this time but probably to the charity shop.

This machine was amongst my mother in law’s belongings which we are sifting through as well as our own.

It was clearly something that was significant - a knitting machine. It looks phenomenally complicated and will have required a lot of time and patience - and an instruction manual which we don’t seem to have.

Apart for those who specialise in making their own garments this feels an item from a different time.

In between the squalls - and sorting out our media with the move to different rooms - we have made progress and while the rooms to be cleared require a little bit more clearing we have broken the back of what needs to be done.

Back to work tomorrow and the surprise of opening up the inbox!!
