Covered In Ice

Tuesday was alternating rain and freezing rain - a good day to be indoors.  All was well until the electricity went out at about 6 p.m.  We do have a generator, but getting it started in the dark and rain and ice slicked driveway alone was a real challenge.  One I wasn't able to master.  Fortunately, my sweet neighbor called to see if I was ok and offered some soup and salad with her and her 6 year old.  Their generator was running.  After we were fueled up the two of us managed to get it going!!  Yayyy.  With limited lights, heat, hot water and refrigerator but no internet, today's picture was not uploaded.  It all returned about 11 p.m. Really very pretty but treacherous driving and a car hitting a utility pole was the cause.
