Matilda's tree

I paid a visit to Hobbycraft this morning to pick up some more wool to finish continue  my crochet blanket - luckily they still had balls with the same batch number but unfortunately one of the colours was no longer in the 3 for 2 offer, never mind needs must.

On the way home I had a cuppa with French friend who was recovering from her recent lurgy and we had a good catch up. 

Finally I called in to see if 'Matilda' was alright which she was and being safely guarded by her tree which looked magnificent with the start of the lovely, but short lived, sunset behind her.
