The Silver Birch. National symbol of Finland, and a pruning job for Patrick at Upton Lovell. Three of them together, wonderful peeling bark. I just held the ladder and collected the branches. Finished early, so we went down the lane to the Prince Leopold pub by the Wylye for a ploughmans and small pint.
