Is this the way to

I've been waiting for a few weeks now to get a picture of my Christmas present. It's quite amazing as the bulb is in a waxed ball and requires no soil or water. It is just bursting into bloom with a mass of brilliant red flowers. Quite spectacular. When it finishes blooming I'll investigate to see if there's any chance of it flowering next year. With soil and water I'm guessing.

Once again the snow has proved a challenge in the dog walks, but the air is so fresh that once I've cut across the icy road I can really enjoy it.
