Philippa, and Mireia and Nigel

A bit of a late start to the day in the Bb and Dd household this morning. We must have needed the extra sleep and, bliss, I slept well! 

Some unpacking and finding homes for the new bits and bobs we brought back from Rio in the afternoon and the start of new piles of things to fill my case when it's been completely emptied. 

Very nice night with Philippa, and Nigel and Mireia. Philippa, Nigel and I met in 2001 when we studied for our Cambridge DELTA. Philippa lived in Ibiza at the time and came to Bcn for the face to face intensive part of the course and the assessed teaching practice, then returned to Ibiza and did the theory exam there when it was time. Nigel and Mireia have since lived in Oman and Japan and now back to Bcn. We've lived since then in Sao Paulo, London, Budapest and returned to Barcelona and still have months away here and there. It was a lovely night: easy conversation and laughter. We went to a new place for us - a little Greek place in El Borne - great food and great price. We'll be back!
