Jo Ann Hardesty

I offered Jo Ann a photoshoot today. She was wonderful, and the gray overcast light through her apartment windows was perfect. As we worked together, I asked her to talk about her first priority, once she is elected to the City Council (as we hope) in May. 

"Housing." 

And her second?

"Police reform." 

I am solidly with her on both.

I don't think she will choose this portrait for her campaign, but it's my favorite. In it I see her compassion, her intense drive for justice, her wisdom, and her perseverance. Go Jo Ann!
