ground control to Major Tom

I heard a rumour that the hands had been replaced, and had to drive through Adderbury today so I thought I'd take a look. This is what the owners of the beautiful Palladian Adderbury Park thought would liven up the front garden!
I'd been to a Parish Council meeting in a pub - splendid idea! they meet every Tuesday for coffee, cake and a chat with the Parishoners. A brilliant way of staying in touch I imagine.
This evening brought a meeting, arranged by a colleague. At 3.30pm she told me it started at 4pm not 6.30pm, and that there would be " a few questions" on a particular topic. I was then introduced as " Kate, who is going to give a presentation on said topic". Fab. Think I blathered my way through it. The bonus is, I'll be home for the bake off final!
