back-blip

Amelie has been toilet trained for 4 months, she did so well and took to it really quickly but we seem to be having a regression today and not one wee made it into the toilet. All of them made it onto our new rug however. I was so shocked and frustrated I was a bit angry and we haven't had a great day. It all began at 2.30am when Amelie came through to tell me she had wet the bed. This too is a rarity but it does happen on the odd occasion. I wasn't annoyed about it but she lay awake for ages, as did I, afterwards. Consequently she has been tired and grumpy today and she fell asleep sitting beside me on the sofa post-bath, drinking her milk.

So it wasn't a great day for photos! This is blurry but at least she's smiling :)

We also enjoyed sausage casserole for dinner and Amelie helped me beat the biscuits to make Rocky Road. So not all bad!
