miette at the fire again

Here is Miette, back by the fire again. She loves the heat.

I had a relaxed morning and then cooked roast pork in mustard and honey for lunch. Pierre has been helping his dad whilst we’ve been here and they got a load more stuff done today - putting lighting into the garage, fixing a leak in the boiler, then going to a big DIY store to pick up a wheelbarrow. It’ll be easier for Daniel to deal with the wood for the fire now that he’s got one.

Pierre and I took a trip to Sisteron in the afternoon to have a look around the sales. Pierre got a gorgeous shirt and a comfy long-sleeved t-shirt and I got two new pairs of shoes - lovely brown boots and a pair of sparkly black heels. Pierre’s buys cost him 15 euros altogether and my shoes were bargains as well; 30 euros in total, I think!
