Audrey SWAT Team

Very fancy. So this is what going private looks like (see pic). Could get used to this, but not sure my purse could handle it!

Took this pic while I was sat in the waiting area waiting for a prescription for Audrey for some anti-acid medicine called Omeprazole that the private paediatrician we saw hopes will help solve her reflux problems. His theory? Build up of acid in her stomach from the day feeds (which have increased as she is taking more milk) is causing acid to burn back up her throat at night and it is waking and distressing her. Hence the medicine. We'll see.

He also suggests we wean her in two weeks as well as the medicine. If that doesn't work, he wants to explore whether she is allergic to cow's milk and dairy. It goes on..

Last night my husband made me sleep in the spare room and he slept in with Audrey. She slept through to 3am before she started waking every 30mins. Unfortunately I heard her from 4am so was awake too but boy did I appreciate the few hours sleep I did get and I was very grateful of that.

Tomorrow it's the turn of the Baby Sleep Specialist, who is arriving first thing for a consultation. It is as though we have our own special Audrey tactical SWAT team set up.

Thanks for all the lovely messages of support yesterday by the way. Lovely blip friends and non-blip friends who read my blog; you are all so kind and it means a lot!
