Pant

Went to the store today and as my bottle collection was reasonably large I returned them all. This is the bottle return machine, or pant as they call it. Unlike in Canada where you can only return alcoholc bottles for money, pant covers all bottles in Norway (the only exceptions I can think of that would not be eligible would be foreign imports).

Every bottle has a little mark on the label saying how much you get back for returning it, small bottles (less than 0.5l) are 1 and larger ones are 2.50. Even if they don't have the label to scan the machine can figure it out, I imagine based on size or maybe another code on the bottle. I got 23kr back, which I used to justify treating myself to strawberries. :)
