Walk Wood

A long morning walk on Ashdown Forest followed by a late afternoon walk at Sheffield Park. Although it was off the path through Walk Wood I felt drawn to the lone tree standing in a pool of sunlight. The instant that I arrived at the tree it went dark as if the beam of sunlight had been switched off. Spooky. .
