Postcard from Christchurch... on a Hot Summers Day

After all the gloom of the past few days .. the sun shone brightly all day and it was hot. One report said 30c.

I aksed John if he would like to come into the city with me late afternoon then we could go out for a curry afterwards. He was a bit a grump photo bombing my shots and wanting to sit down all the time... wish I went on my own! We did have a nice meal at a new Indian restaurant in the city.

Lots of new murals have gone up since I was last in the city. I only found two today.
