Seal Rocks
We drove to the lighthouse at Sugarloaf Point / Seal Rocks. It is an active lighthouse and the previous keeper cottages have been turned into holiday accommodation. Another beautiful spot on the mid NSW coast. There were many birds on the rocks but no seals today. A large pod of dolphins was frolicking in the surf as well (see extra). I need a proper Tele lens so I have to start looking at new cameras, soon.
We stopped in one of the towns for coffee then went for a swim at Elizabeth beach. We drove home and picked up the dog and the fishing rods and to the lake ar Tuncurry for a couple of hours. The fish were biting but we didn’t land any. Back home we prepared a BBQ (meat, obviously) for our friend’s sister and her family. A storm came over and delayed the cooking somewhat but we got there in the end. I have just realised what a busy day we have had and I have left quite a few things out
