Visiting the Armoured Brigade

Day for relatives in Armoured Brigade, so we travelled into the brigade and waited for some time on frosty yard until we were picked up into the battalion area.

Everything seemed to be ok, we had nice time with our son. Had lunch and buns with coffew in the canteen1. He seems to enjoy his service at the moment, but I bet he will be heading hard times...

The Armoured Brigade offers a wide range of training options and training takes place in several battalion-level units. All Army branches are represented in the brigade. Depending on the task, a conscript will serve 165, 255 or 347 days.

The blip is from the canteen2's miniature world, but I added some important aspects into the capture. A lion represents finnish lion in our flag (and it is the name of the food service too) and the frosty trees are from the motorway, from our way.

On our way back, we visited my mother-in-law's birthday party. 75years. Take your hat off.
