Living On The Water.

Seen from Victoria bridge, these are permanently moored narrowboats, adjacent to Midsummer common, Cambridge. Further along in Riverside, there are more permanent boats. Residents of the very expensive flats there, average £500,000, and only a few feet away from the boats have complained that the smoke from the narrowboats is a serious matter as it seeps into their dwellings. One says," It's like a Shanghai industrial wharf." I have seen the smoke but never having been to a Shanghai wharf, I can't compare !
