Impressions of the day

The miserable weather continues.  I know some people are having severe weather and our drippy, drizzly days are nothing in comparison, but they are nonetheless depressing.  I went to the DIY store for some tools and, on the way home, wearing the "big coat", scarf, wooly hat et al, went down to the shore to try to take something resembling a nice photograph.  I tried the in camera movement technique, which I was happy enough with, but the light was so gloomy the RAW shots needed a bit of post production work.  To get better texture I even added some noise both to the main pic and the extra. Friends for dinner tonight (I mean as guests, not in the pot).
