Floral fungus
I couldn't wait to get back into Bracondale wood today - lunchtime couldn't come quick enough! Despite it drizzling heavily I wasn't to be deterred. This cluster of brackets was one fungus I'd made a note of last week, and had decided I must blip it today. It's springing up from the ground, and looking directly down on it reminded me of an open flower. I thought it quite beautiful .....
I checked on another couple of fungal groups I'd also seen on Friday - still there thankfully, and my blip subjects for tomorrow and Wednesday .....
