Swan knots

Didn't manage a daylight walk yesterday. Had my stitches out first thing - It took over an hour and by the time it was finished it was way too hot for walking. Went out last night - but walking at night is not good for photography :) 

Early morning this morning to catch the sunrise. The sun rose, but there was nothing to catch - it was overcast, misty and occasionally drizzly. Excellent walking weather. Also, most of my photos this morning were experiments with universal white balance and ETTR - so not much to show. At the end of the walk I spent about 30 minutes watching the waterbirds at the edge of the lake, including this wonderful swan family. It's delightful to watch the adults swim together, synchronising their movements. I must learn more about swans - they are such fun to watch :)
