Washed out

I was thinking about taking bets on who's going to topple me off the top spot and I think Markus_Hediger is making a valiant effort with his monkeys.

Do you ever have silly ideas just as you're trying to drop off to sleep?  No, just me then?

You know how you settle down under the duvet and try to get comfortable but your arms get in the way and one of them flaps around like a spare part?  Well I though that if I grabbed each arm by the biceps and pulled them off, dropping them onto the floor, then I might get a better night's sleep.  Then I got to thinking that in the morning I'd have no means of putting them back on again.

Back to the drawing board then, but no 'arm in dreaming.

If I plant these they may flower.
