Sleeping Monkey

Today has been a funny one. C slept until 07.45, an all time record, but consequently the scramble for school was just that, a scramble. The kids continued to niggle each other this morning, resulting in tears at breakfast. W was in much better humour once we set off for school.

He enjoyed time in creche whilst I ran 5miles, did kettle bells and got laughed at when I said I wasn't happy with my 10k last week. People who aren't runners really have no idea, but this is exactly why I am always reticent to talk times at the gym.

Dropped W at Goslings and headed home to bake and ice cakes for tomorrows baby shower. What is it about icing sugar that means everything gets covered in a thin layer of the stuff? Well it is clean now.

Picked up C, did homework and sorted tea. Children in slightly better mood than this morning, although W was visibly tired.

I couldn't resist taking a shot of him asleep tonight. He looked so cute with his hands under his head.
