...keith? Never sure about the little islands in the Forth.

We went for a hike from Levenhall back along the sea wall to the Esk mouth and Musselburgh. D seemed disappointed in the relatively small variety of birds about, but there were hunners of oystercatchers which made me very happy. We met numerous chaps with tripods and big lenses trying to see a distant surf scoter - some of them even greeted DH in a downbeat Detectorists type manner. He may be beyond help.
